Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. They will also inspect the treatment area. If your provider determines that skin tag removal in Los Angeles is the best treatment for your concerns and goals, your session can be scheduled.

Procedure
Younique offers several different techniques to remove your skin tags. No matter which method is chosen, your provider will first thoroughly cleanse and disinfect the treatment area. This may also require removing any makeup at the target location. Depending on the treatment:
- Topical numbing cream will be applied.
- The skin tag will either be completely removed or killed.
- If the skin tag isn’t fully removed, it will eventually fall off.

Recovery
There is no downtime for skin tag removal in Los Angeles that does not involve the anal region. Most Younique patients head back into their regular daily activities after this 15-minute treatment. You will want to keep your skin tag removal site clean. If the skin tag is cut off, you can apply antibiotic ointment to the wound and cover it with a nonstick bandage as it heals. Do not use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol on it. Also, do not scratch or rub the wound or the dead skin tag during recovery.
