Cuktech 15 Ultra review: 165W portable charger is all the power you need (2025)

Portable chargers are now so powerful that you almost don’t need to bring USB wall sockets away with you when you are travelling.

The 10,000mAh capacity is now common in power banks, with 20,000mAh or more not unheard of.

And now I am testing the Cuktech 15 Ultra, a portable charger that promises ridiculously fast 165W charging, intelligent power management and a built-in display.

It’s not the lightest power bank on the market, but it’s a 20,000mAh battery so I’m fine with that. The device has a matte finish that feels premium and durable and it is resistant to fingerprints and minor scratches.

One of Cuktech 15 Ultra's biggest selling points is its 165W max dual-port self-charging. This enables the sleek-looking device to recharge fully in only 45 minutes.

The port selection is so impressive. The main Type-C1 port delivers up to 140W, which is perfect for charging high-performance notebooks.

The Type-C2 port offers 65W output, while the USB-A port provides a solid 33W for smaller and older gadgets.

When you are charging three devices simultaneously, the total output is 160W (100W plus 45W plus 15W). When you just use the two USB-C ports, the total output is 165W (100w plus 65W).

This versatility ensures the power bank can handle everything from smartphones to tablets, from smartwatches to MacBook Pro laptops.

Bear in mind, many smartphones can refuel on 40W or less, and even high-end laptops often ask for no more than 100W.

But if you are lucky enough to own a 16in MacBook Pro, for example, you could make use of the 140w output once you have the right cable. But investing in a portable charger with this much performance headroom available should ensure you are future-proof for devices that may ramp up power consumption demands.

I love the Cuktech 15 Ultra’s TFT display. It gives you real-time battery percentage, wattage tracking, input and output monitoring along with control over dual-port mode.

You also get a long 975mm 240W maximum PD3.1 cable and soft carrying case in the box.

Cuktech 15 Ultra verdict

It’s easy to recommend this premium power bank to people who do a lot of work on the go or anyone who carries a lot of gadgets with them.
