The story was brought to life by the fabolous Desiree Markgraaff and the team at Bomb who brought us Shaka Ilembe last year. It will be streaming on Showmax in February.Our scripted superstars FLAVIA MOTSISI, Sanele Shibe and Tebogo Matlawa did a stellar job on developing and shepherding it to our screens.

We're excited to announce the upcoming release of Wyfie, a new youth drama produced by Homebrew Films' Paul, Jaco, Burgert and directed by Johan Cronje. Capturing the essence of student life in an authentic, irreverent, and sometimes naughty way, is what we set out to do. This show is the result of lots of hard work, tears, and the work of an incredibly brave cast and crew. The title was inspired by Angie Oeh's 'Dis Jou Wyfie' song, and her legacy lives on in the show's soundtrack, created with Peach van Pletzen. Sadly, Angie passed away suddenly, but her work and passion will always be remembered. We want to thank Nicola van Niekerk, Wikus du Toit, and Lizette Khan for finding their inner youth and creating the future of Afrikaans drama.
